REASON FOR DECISION

To ensure compliance with statutory requirements to publish a compliant travel policy for students aged 16 and over.
The DfE issued Post 16 education transport guidance in January 2019 which Local Authorities must have regard to when issuing their transport policies. This guidance has been followed in the development of the policy.
